Mara and Tamar have been known to have opinions on a few things. People are always asking them which they think is the best stroller, the best breast pump, the best toy, so in this section, they will be sharing their thoughts on such subjects. Please feel free to email them and ask about any subject you'd like covered. they'll be only too glad to oblige!

Awsome baby slings!
When it comes to baby slings, one size does not always fit all.
Finally, someone thought of making us better looking and feeling slings. Not only do these come in an array of fabulous prints, but they allow you to choose how much padding you want and where you like it. They'll even do custom sizes!

Melted Crayon in the car?
(Tamar)
My son left a crayon on the front seat of my car, and after one very hot day I found the red puddle that remained of that crayon! Did I panic? yes. But then I searched the internet and found this:
http://crayola.com/canwehelp/staintips/stain.cfm
yes, crayola actually has a website section devoted entirely to the removal of stains caused by their products on every imaginable surface. So if, for example you got some dough in your carpeting, you'll know just where to find the solution.

My Cool New Back Pack Carrier:
(Tamar)
I am a really small mom, and I can't use a lot of back pack carrieres because the distance from my hips to my shoulders isn't long enough to fit most of them properly. But then I found the Deuter Kangaroo. It's a German product, and it's got a lot going for it. First of all, it looks like a regular pack, and doesn't have the bulky frame like the Kelty or Evenflo. For this reason, getting your kid in is a little trickier, but I found it doable, and the fit is really good on my little frame. This pack is the perfect solution for your kid when they're already walking, but get tired and want to be carried after a while. It beats pushing around an empty stroller all day! It says it's for kids up to 33 lbs. I weigh just under 100 lbs, and I can carry my 28 lb son in this thing with no problem. The pack has really generous capacity for all your stuff, too. Mine cost $119 at the Right Start, but I'm sure you can find them for cheaper online.

New Stroller Discovery:
(Tamar)
I just saw the coolest stroller! I had to stop the woman pushing it and ask her what it was because I'd never seen anything quite like it. Turns out it's a Bugaboo Frogand it's made in the Netherlands. A few stores in the U.S. are carrying now, but you can always sucker one of your jet-setting pals into dragging one over from Holland. Check it out at bugaboo.nl
The place for Breastfeeding moms:
If you live in L.A. and you have had babies recently, I am sure you know about our local treasure, The Pump Station in Santa Monica. Not only can you get all your nursing supplies here, but you can also find lactation support, great nursing wear, breastfeeding support groups, classes and really nice gifts. Mara and Tamar met there in a childbirth class, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.
